Description
And another...because my covers seem to be a hit....NOTMost probably don't know what kind of 'monsters' these are, they're Philippine folklore monsters.Left to right,(1) 'kapre'-just a big giant sits on top of trees smoking a cigar, (2) typical 'vampire,' (3)'manananggal' - basically a woman who at midnight reveals her bat wings and flies off leaving the lower half of her body to suck the juice out of pregnant women, (4) 'tikbalang'- in some versions is like a centaur with the halfs reversed, head of a horse, body of a man. And at the lower left corner of the pic is a mound of dirt, i forget what we call it. But superstitions say that spirits/gnomes live underneath, so some elders have a habit of excusing themselves whenever they step on these things in apology to avoid getting cursed.
Wonder if anyone will actually read that explanation. Anyway, if these particular monsters don't look too scary, don't blame me, in this story, they're the good guys
If i have time I'll link some comic pages i did for his comic a long time ago. But if you think this pic isn't great, then those will definitely suck more

Concept:Strong |
Technical Skill:Strong |
Impact/impression:Strong |
Pros:Your cover ideas always have a strong initial impact.
Cons:The mixture of drawing/shading styles doesn't sit comfortably together. The bold deliniation of shadows on the girl and vampire dude works really well but the tentative and scratchy shading on the horse guy looks weak.
If you're gonna use typography in your work make sure it looks crisp, clean and professional. Hand drawn lettering, unless done to perfection, always makes a work look very amauterish. Overall opinion/feedback:Plenty to catch the eye here...but I'd love to see one of these taken to a finished state in colour.

really like the vampire
but i dont like the way you did the clothes...i can see the lines converge there in a big black line...u could make everything soft and you'll get more volume as well
